Dr. Barbara J. McClain is the founder of Barbara McClain Ministries, where the emphasis is "Training and Equipping Kingdom People for the End-Time." Dr. Barbara is also an advocate of prayer.

Along with preaching the Word of God, over the past 36 years, in various parts of the country and internationally, in Nairobi, Kenya, Cape Town, South Africa, Jinga, Uganda, Mexico and El Salvador, God has anointed Sis. McClain, through the ministry of "laying on of hands", to help thousands receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, (Acts 2:4). They have received in their homes, cars, in beauty shops, in hospitals, fitness centers, during worship services, on the street, and even over the telephone, (Joel 2:28.)  She operates in a strong prophetic anointing where many have been healed, delivered and set free from demonic oppression and possession.
